The Creekside Community Outreach Center, which is a mission of the Oriskany Falls United Methodist Church, runs a thrift shop with nominal prices on clothing, small household items, toys & games, jewelry, bed linens, dishes, etc.  We strive to sell only good quality items with no stains or issues.

All our revenue (after expenses of rent, heat, and electricity) is donated back into the community to people in need of heat or food, having health issues, needing transportation, etc.  We also donate to the Food Sense program run by the Oriskany Falls UMC.

We also prepare shoeboxes full of small size Christmas gifts for Samaritan's Purse which are delivered all over the world. And we work with other organizations as well, such as St Joseph's Catholic Church in Oriskany Falls.

We have Free Clothing Days a couple times a year to help people who need clothing and also to help us get ready to switch seasons.

Creekside accepts donations of any of the items we sell when they are in good, clean condition.  We accept donations during open hours (listed above).  We cannot accept items such as large furniture, electronics (such as computers, printers or fax machines), bed-pillows, car seats for children, or anything not in good usable condition.

Creekside always needs volunteers.  We schedule two to three people per shift, and each shift runs two hours.  We also sometimes come in extra when we get large donations that need to be sorted, priced, and put out for sale. To volunteer, check with any volunteer at the shop or call Mike at 315-821-6130 or 315-765-1198. Please leave a message if I do not answer.
