Our other missions
Our church is busy with many missions throughout the year. Through the church and through Creekside we reach out to many different people and areas.
Food Sense
As you can tell from our front page, Food Sense is a big mission of the church. Sonia has been running this mission for over 15 years. The food is quality food and comes from the CNY Food Bank. There are no financial requirements to sign up and no requirements to sign up every month - only if the package interests you. For $20.50, you get nearly $30.00 worth of food. You can also purchase specials each month which change monthly. You can order online with a credit or debit card or EBT card, or at the C W Clark Memorial Library in person (check our calendar for dates.) Breast Cancer Walk
Our Sunday School does the Breast Cancer Walk every October in honor and in memory of the many women of our church who have had breast cancer. This has been a long standing mission of over twenty years. Each year we raise a few hundred dollars for breast cancer research.
Shoeboxes
Each year, Creekside donates the items and the Sunday School fills the shoeboxes with toys and toiletries for children. Last year we filled 64 shoeboxes which went to Liberia and South Africa in 2025. It's a real blessing to send gifts to children who would otherwise likely get nothing for Christmas, and they also get to learn about the Lord at the same time. A blessing to them!
Breast Cancer Walk
Our United Women In Faith is led by Linda Kelly and is busy all year. They raise money with a community calendar sale and make sure their checkbook is empty at the end of the year by gifting their money to other nonprofit organizations. They meet a number of times during the year and offer interesting programs to all. They also meet with the district group for fellowship and
