Sunday School is taking place each Sunday at 9:45 am at the church. If you want to learn about God and Jesus, and have a good time while doing it, this is the place for you. Come and try us out! You just might like us. We have a lesson each Sunday, and do lots of outreach mission work. Just scroll down for some examples! Miss Sonia, Miss Linda, and Miss Emma will be there to lead you all in the right direction.
Mission work:
Breast cancer walk
We have been raising money for breast cancer research for many years in honor and memory of the many ladies in our lives who have bravely fought this battle. Join us October 4th this year as we continue this work. If you're not in Sunday School and would like to join, just let us know by clicking the button below! In the message, tell us you'd like to join the walk. We'll contact you by email.
Shoeboxes for Red Bird Mission
With the help of our congregation and Creekside Community Outreach we have sent hundreds of shoeboxes for Christmas to children in this country and beyond. This year we are going to support Red Bird Mission in Southeastern Kentucky. This is a really fun project that the kids have enjoyed helping with for years! If you'd like to donate items for the shoeboxes or help in another way, click the button below and tell us in the message. We'll contact you by email.
Other missions
We have many other missions, such as goody bags for shut-ins at Thanksgiving and sending cards to the sick.
We have a winter coat giveaway in mid-October. The Fellowship Hall is filled with coats, boots, hats, and all kinds of outer wear to give away. Help is always appreciated to get ready and clean up after this event.
