Have you ever found yourself standing in the middle of a situation thinking, “Okay… what do I do now?”
Maybe it was after assembling something with “simple instructions” (and somehow ending up with extra parts).
Maybe it was after a big life moment—good or hard—and everything suddenly felt different.
That question—“What do I do now?”—is actually a very spiritual question.
In Acts 2, after Peter shares the incredible news about Jesus—His life, His death, and His resurrection—the crowd is deeply moved. Scripture says they were “cut to the heart,” and they ask: “What shall we do?”
It’s an honest question. A brave one, too. And Peter gives a beautifully simple answer:
Turn toward God.
Follow Jesus.
Receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
In other words—take the next step.
Not ten steps. Not a perfect plan for the rest of your life. Just the next step. That’s good news for people like us.
Because most days, we don’t have everything figured out. We’re just trying to take the next faithful step—loving a neighbor, offering kindness, showing grace, trusting God a little more than we did yesterday.
And here’s the best part of Peter’s message: “The promise is for you.” Not just for the people who have it all together. Not just for the super-spiritual.
For you.
For your family.
For your neighbors.
Even for those who feel far away.
So if you find yourself asking this week, “What do I do now?” Start here: Turn toward God. Trust in Jesus.
And remember—you don’t walk alone.
God is already with you… guiding you… one step at a time.
Grace and peace,
